Day 346
Hey!! My day today started with a really good 1.5 hour workout and transitioned into a 3-9:30 closing work shift that was interesting. Why was it interesting? Well, I found out that I've been approved to move to the Men's Shoes department for the upcoming week, making today my last day in Women's Accessories. I'm super excited, but still kind of sad at the same time. I loved most of the people in my department, and I enjoyed working in my department overall, but I need the change and the raise :-P
My outfit today consisted of a navy striped Love Culture top ($12 or so) and some navy Gianni Bini cropped skinny pants from Dillard's ($40 on sale). Kind of matchy-matchy, but still super cute.
I added a layered statement necklace from Dillard's ($17 on sale) to give my outfit some extra class. I do love this necklace :-)
I chose some light brown
Rue21 flats ($15 or so on sale) because I thought they went really well with my outfit.
After work, Chelsea came over so we could get ready before going to The Green Lemon to celebrate our friend Kate's birthday. I changed into a cream
Forever21 top ($8 years ago) and some cropped holey
American Eagle skinny jeans ($25 on sale) to be comfy while looking cute.
Cutout back fabulousness is always a good option :-)
I went with my chevron-striped
Old Navy pointy-toed flats ($6 on sale) for some color and pattern. That, and they're really, really comfy.
We ate a light dinner at The Green Lemon while enjoying some delicious margaritas, and then the group of us (there was like 7 or 8) walked to another bar place called McDinton's for drinks and what not. I didn't partake very much, but I still had a lot of fun. It was nice to just blow some steam off and hang out with my friends :-) I got to bed kind of late, but it's all good because I have the next day off.
