After a long work day, I headed out to dinner with my family to celebrate my Aunt's 50th birthday!
We went to a sports bar and grill in town called The Wild Hare, where my aunt works, and had a little surprise gathering to celebrate. I love eating there because the food is so delicious! :)
I was going to go to a wedding reception with my cousin that I was invited to, but because of the impromptu party, I wasn't able to attend. Honestly, and quite obviously, it was more important for me to go to my aunt's party than the wedding reception, which was actually, technically, a vow renewal since the couple has been married for a year already. Plus, I was only invited to the dance portion of the reception. :P
The reason I'm telling you all of this is because the bride had texted me the next day asking why I wasn't at the reception, and she later posted on Facebook how disappointed she was with the turnout and how people she expected to be there were not in attendance. LIKE REALLY? How mature. -_- If it were me, I wouldn't let a few people not showing up ruin my vow renewal. I would appreciate all that were in attendance, and I certainly WOULD NOT text people and ask why they didn't come. So dumb...
Anyways, today was a great day! :)
