"Fun" Friday

Day 199

Hi!! So, I did work another Dock shift at Dillard's from 7-3 today, but since I always wear pretty much the same thing, I've decided not to include it anymore (unless I didn't wear anything else that's more fashionable afterwards). Work did go really well, and my store manager is already looking for my replacement so he can move me onto the sales floor. Apparently I'm doing a really good job :-)

After work, I came home, changed, and then went through my closet to sell some stuff to Revolve, which is kind of like Plato's Closet, since they take more of the "unique" styles, and that's what I have a lot of. I was able to find a good duffle-sized-bag-full of stuff to get rid of, so that's good :-)

My non-work outfit consisted of a white cropped shirt that has an elephant on it that I had bought from SammyDress.com for like $6 or so and a light wash pair of high-waisted BDG shorts that I had bought from Plato's Closet a while back for $6. Such a cute combo, and yet, not expensive at all. That's what I would call a major win :-)

Look at the fabulous elephant on my shirt!! I freaking love elephants :-)

I decided to match my top with my shoes, so I went with a pair of red satin TOMS that I had bought from Plato's Closet for like $18 or so. SCORE!! I do love these shoes :-)

So, as I was on my way to the Revolve that's closest to me, I ended up taking the wrong exit. I ended up on the bridge to St. Petersburg, and by the time I got off of it, I discovered that I was only like 10 minutes from the Revolve in St. Petersburg, so I decided to just go there. Well, upon parking, I somehow managed to lock my keys and my bag of stuff to sell in the car. Adam then had to drive like 45 minutes to come help me, and when I was finally able to bring my stuff into Revolve, they told me they couldn't go through it until the next morning. Apparently, they don't take stuff in the last hour they're open. They closed at 7, and I came in at 6:07. FML. I even tried explaining the situation to the lady, but the lady wouldn't give. My husband and I ended up walking around a really pretty park that we were parked next to before going to dinner at the Outback Steakhouse that's down the street. We basically made the drive worth it to the best of our abilities.

Once we got home, which was around like 7:45 or so, we relaxed for a bit before heading on over to the Montgomery's apartment to play some Cards Against Humanity. That was a good time, let me tell you what. That game is hilarious, especially when Andrew Montgomery and Adam play together.

For the game part of our night, I threw on a navy H&M cardigan ($6 from Plato's Closet) and a pair of cropped holey American Eagle skinny jeans ($25 on sale) since the Montgomery's apartment is usually pretty chilly. Still a cute outfit combo :-)

Adam and I ended up going back to the apartment around midnight or so, and we pretty much went to bed right away. I'm going to head out, so until the next time... Stay fabulous, my lovelies!! Ciao!!
