Sister, Sister: Happy 22nd Birthday, Kas!

Day #203

As I'm sure you probably realized from the title, today was Kassy's 22nd birthday! Whoop whoop! :)

We all slept in today, ate lunch at home, and then got ready to head out to the mall to do some birthday shopping with Kassy!

The weather was a real downer today. It was rainy and cloudy and windy. Not okay. Korry don't do rain. -_- Luckily, it didn't start raining until we were all already in the car, so we didn't get drenched or anything right away. Unfortunately, it was still raining when we got to the mall, and we only had one umbrella, in which Kassy was going to use to walk back to the mall after dropping us all off at the door.

Now, when I say it was raining, it was more like pouring. The wind made it come down real hard and at an angle, so there was no way to avoid getting wet. Oh great. So, as you could probably guess, I got DRENCHED, and my hair turned into a mess. Ugh. To make matters even worse, I nailed my ankle on the car as I was getting out, which REALLY HURT, and my dress got caught underneath of me, so the strap on my dress completely broke off on one end, exposing my "sticky boobs" to my family who was waiting for me at the mall entrance. FML. -_-

So, not only did my perfectly straightened hair get ruined, but my brand new dress that I had never worn before (I bought it for Florida) broke. Fantastic. *insert extreme sarcasm*

Kassy works at Dillards, so we went there and asked customer service if they had a sewing kit, which they did- THANK GOD- so my mom took me into the bathroom and sewed up the strap just for the time being. After that, it just kinda seemed like my day went downhill. I didn't feel good about my appearance and the weather made me feel gross, so I wasn't in a very pleasant mood. Then my unpleasant mood made me feel bad about being poopy on Kassy's birthday. It was a vicious cycle. :P

After a couple hours of shopping, we all went out to dinner, at a pub in one of the International Plaza Mall called The Pub. It was really good food, and the server was amazing! Definitely recommend it! :)

Once we got back home and I was able to change and fix my hair, I felt TONS better! I almost became a whole new person! lol
