It's My Birthday!!!!

Day 203

Hi!! So, today is most definitely my 22nd birthday!! YAY!! And yes, I've heard Taylor Swift's "22" song more than enough today, let's be honest :-P But hey, it's my birthday, and I get to celebrate it with my family. It does suck that Adam has to be at his pre-deployment training in Nevada for it, but I know he'll make it up to me when he gets back.

To celebrate my birthday, my parents took me shopping at the mall I work at. Definitely spent all of my birthday money and then some, but it IS my birthday after all :-) My sisters also shopped with me, which was really nice. I don't like shopping by myself when there's other people with me.

For my birthday, I wore a really cute light purple Charlotte Russe high-low dress that has a see-through lace strip around the waist ($25 or so a long time ago). I LOVE this dress because it makes "the girls" look really good while making my waist look small, which is always a win :-)

Korry was nice enough to lend me her favorite necklace (from Windsor) as an accessory so my outfit had a little bit more pizazz for my birthday. I do love her :-)

For shoes, I ended up going with the somewhat basic R2 sandals that I had bought from Buckle for like $26 or so after my discount. Apparently, wearing flats with a high-low/maxi dress is a "no-no" according to my sisters. I didn't feel like arguing :-P

After shopping commenced, my family and I headed on over to The Pub for a delicious birthday dinner. OMG that place is ALWAYS SO FREAKING GOOD!! Just saying :-) We then went back to the apartment for some yummy cake, drinks (non-alcoholic for my underage sisters), and a game of Cards Against Humanity. It was basically a really great birthday, minus Adam not being here.
