There were warnings last night of today being gross outside, and the warnings were correct. -_-
It was fine outside in the morning, but around noon, or so, it started to rain/sleet, so the snow was all mushy and disgusting, and then the rain turned into ice, so it was real slick outside. Then, to top it all off, it was foggy outside. Talk about nasty!
Lucky for me, I only had class from 9:30-10:45am, so I was inside and done for the day once the bad weather came around. The thing that kinda sucks was that they cancelled classes for the rest of the day RIGHT AFTER I got out of class. Go figure. -_-
Funny story (it's actually not so funny though): I was supposed to take my PRAXIS exam, to get into the teaching program at the university, at 8 in the morning, and when I got there they said they didn't have me registered in the system. Um, what?! The company had charged my bank account and took $125 out of my checking, without registering me for the test. Talk about annoying and embarrassing! It was awful! On the bright side, I guess, I didn't have to skip class for the day, so I didn't have to worry about getting notes from that day and finding time on my own to watch the video that they viewed in class. So I guess it kind of all worked out...:P lol
We were recruiting for 4 girls this week, and so today we went out and delivered to bids to girls, which I got to be a part of. The girls were SO EXCITED when we showed up to their dorm rooms to offer them a bid to join Alpha Delta Pi! It was precious. :)
Oh! Another exciting thing was that, because of the nasty weather, work was called off! Whoop whoop! That means I had one less day of being stressed out at Adrenaline X, and one more day I could stay fabulous looking and get a bunch of stuff done! Yay! :) haha
Anyways, here's my adorable outfit to counteract the yucky weather!
