Working on Valentine's Day

Day 143

Hey!! So, good news... I had my interview at Dillard's today, and it went REALLY well!! They're gong to run a background check with Homeland Security, and if everything goes OK, then they'll call me to set up a second interview. YAY!!

After my interview, I came home, changed into something more comfortable, and just relaxed until Adam came home. Guess who got surprise with chocolate dipped strawberries?! ME!! And they were delicious, in case you were wondering :-) Adam and I were able to spend a little time together before I had to go to work for a 5-10 shift. Yeah, I know... I had to close on Valentine's Day. So not cool.

For my interview, I wore a white/purple/blue floral printed Cotton On peplum top ($10 on sale) under a short-sleeve Maurices fitted blazer ($12 on sale). SO fabulous :-) I also managed to squeeze into the black pencil skirt my mom gave in high school. She had this skirt in the 90's, and it's still in great shape. Even though I've gained a wee bit of weight since the last time I wore it, it somehow still fits me perfectly. Definitely not complaining :-)

I love how tiny this blazer makes my waist look :-)

For shoes, I went with a bright blue pair of ShoeDazzle kitten heels ($40 online). They're SO comfy!!

For work, I changed into the outfit I would've worn yesterday since it was a perfectly good outfit. It consisted of a coral BKE burnout that has ruffled sleeves (about $18 after discount) with a black-and-off-white printed BKE long sleeve shirt (about $15 after discount). Then, for my third layer, I added a black crocheted Daytrip vest (about $16 after discount). LOVE IT!!

The pattern on this printed shirt is SO cool :-)

And these sleeves are fabulous!!

For shoes, I went with my off-white Not Rated heeled and studded boots (about $45 after discount) since they just added that extra something to my outfit. LOVE THEM!!

I ALSO curled my hair today, and after brushing it out, I got these really pretty pin-up styled waves. Definitely looked fabulous, so I just had to show you :-)

My hair looks so pretty today!!
Work sucked pretty bad, I won't lie. I just couldn't get like any sales, which means my hours are going to be affected for the next schedule. Sucks so bad. Thank God I'm looking for a different job because my paychecks are pitiful.

After work,  I came home, ate some cereal, and started reading this book called "Outlander" that's really good. It's part of a soon-to-be eight book series, and I'm definitely in love with it so far. Each book is over 900 pages, so they're going to last me a while, too!! WIN!!

Now, off to read some more. Until the next time... Stay fabulous, my fellow fashionistas!! Ciao!!
