Long Monday

Day 132

Hey!! How's it going?! This girl is doing pretty freaking fabulous today, even though I've been up since 7am and won't be home until 9:30pm tonight. YAY?! Here's how my day's gone down:

7:00am- Woke up and got ready
7:45-8:25am- Drive time!
8:30-10:30am- Field Experience at Fairmount Elementary in special education classroom, was OK
10:35-10:45am- Driving to campus
10:50am- COFFEE (and muffin, cheese, and grapes) from Barnes & Noble Bookstore Starbucks Cafe
11:00am-12:25pm- Group presentation, other groups presented, and brief notes
12:30-1:55pm- Sitting outside student center, talked to Adam, and did MyMathLab homework
2:00-3:25pm- Lots of class discussion and notes, kind of boring
3:30-5:55pm- Got parking pass to move car, Starbucks tea/lemonade, talked to Korry, and sat in Cafe
6:00-8:55pm- Last class, lots of notes, discussions, and group work, actually kind of interesting
9:00-9:35pm- Drive time!

I'm currently still in my last class, where it's totally OK for me to be on my computer "taking notes" and what not ;-), and I cannot wait to get home to read another book and relax. That, and I'm just REALLY hungry :-P

Now, I looked pretty freaking fabulous today, if I do say so myself!! I wore a pink/red-patterend Xhilaration high-low dress ($28 years ago) with a skinny no name red belt that's been in my life for forever. SO easy to wear, and SO fabulous!! It was like 75 degrees and sunny today, so I wanted to wear something light-weight that wouldn't make me too hot, and this dress was perfect. AND it was nice enough for my first day of field experience, so that's a double win :-)

I put my hair up in a ballerina bun today using one of those hair donuts since I didn't feel like washing it this morning :-P I mean, it's been like several days since I've washed this hair, and it was getting kind of ratchet... so I was like "Hey hair donut, you're going in my hair, and you're going to make it look fabulous despite it's dirtiness"... AND IT WORKED!! ANOTHER KASSY WIN!!

My dress is fantastic!! It most definitely makes my boobs and waist look amazing :-)

For shoes, I went with a metallic gold pair of Twisted flats from Buckle (like $15 after discount) to bring out the tannish-brown parts of my dress. They're so comfy, it's insane!!
