Rainy Saturday

Day 137

Hi!! So, great news (that totally offsets the crappy rainy weather)... Adam got a random EFD, or Excused From Duty, for today, which means that we get a day off together. YAY!! We slept in until like noon or so, got ready, and headed on over to Jersey Mike's for some lunch. We do love that place quite a bit, it's true :-P While we were in the neighborhood, we stopped by Buckle so I could get my new schedule (Thursday 4-10, Friday/Valentine's Day 5-10 :-/, Saturday 5-10). After that, we ended up going to back to the apartment to wait until the 4:30 showing of the Lego Movie.

I decided to look a little bit more fabulous than I have been recently, and I went with my cream Daytrip blouse that has a tuxedo back and studs on the sleeves (about $20 after discount) and a cute grayish-tanish-floral BKE infinity scarf ($10 after discount). I had to wear a plain tan camisole underneath because the top is slightly see-through. Can't have people getting a look at my goodies, right?! To add some more color, I decided to wear a cropped pair of rose-colored BDG high-waisted skinny jeans that I had gotten from Plato's Closet for like $12. They're SO cute and SO comfy!!

I love how this scarf isn't overwhelming with the floral pattern. It just gives my outfit a hint of floral without going crazy.

Since I already had some interesting pieces in my outfit, I decided to go with a nude-colored pair of Mossimo flats that I had gotten from Plato's Closet for like $6. They're ridiculously comfy and go with pretty much everything. WIN :-)

So, the Lego Movie was actually really good!! I'm talking like Wreck It Ralph good!! GO SEE IT ASAP!! Yeah, yeah... I know... It looks like a kid movie... But it's totally not. Adam and I LOVED it. True story :-) After the movie, Adam and I picked up some fried chicken from Publix. That stuff is delicious. We got some King's Hawaiian Rolls to go with it, and let me tell you... Those bad boys are addicting. Be careful when eating them because you may end up eating way more than you intended to. A simple yet very yummy dinner.

The rest of the night was spent just relaxing. Nothing too special. I have to get going, so until the next one... Stay ridiculously fabulous, my lovelies!! Ciao!!
