Short School Day

Day 146

Hey!! Since I thought I was supposed to have field experience from 8:30-10:30, I got up at 6:45 to get ready and left for St. Pete at 7:45. When I got to the elementary school, I noticed that there weren't like any cars in the parking lot, and there were literally NO students anywhere. Turns out it was a training day, which means that I got up early for nothing. Fantastic.

I ended up going to campus to do random homework and what not until my 11am math class. The class itself was OK, lots of notes going down. After that, I basically went back to doing random homework and what not until my 2pm class. Before my second class, I got an email from the teacher for my 6pm class saying that it was cancelled since she's super sick. Score for me!! My second class was full of notes and could not get done fast enough. For real.

For my short school day, I wore a white Charlotte Russe peplum shirt that has a heart cutout in the back ($6 from Plato's) under dark teal Mossimo blazer ($25 on sale) with a floral-printed BKE infinity scarf ($10 after discount). I went with my basic dark wash American Eagle skinny jeans ($35) since they're nicer. I thought I looked pretty great :-)

This blazer is not only fabulous, but it's also really flattering and makes my waist look small :-)

Even though I wore my blazer all day, I still love the heart cutout on my peplum top.

For shoes, I went with the white no name flats that have little cutouts in them since they're comfy, they look nice, and they match my outfit. They were like $9 at Plato's a while ago, which is a big win!!

After class, I went straight home to spend the rest of the day with Adam, which was awesome :-) I came home, changed quick, relaxed for a bit while Adam was at the gym working out, and then we drove on over to this sports bar called Ducky's for dinner and candlestick bowling. SO YUMMY AND SO FUN!!

For the non-school part of my day, I wore a no name graphic shirt ($6 from Plato's) under a cream Mossimo sweater cardigan ($3 from Plato's) with my cropped holey American Eagle skinny jeans ($25 on sale). SO comfy, for real!!

I love this top, but I have no idea what brand it is or where one can buy it. Sorry :-P

I then added my teal Mossimo pointy-toed flats that have holes in them ($5 on sale) to add some color. These have to be one of my favorite pairs of shoes, ever :-)

After dinner, Adam and I went over to the Montgomery's apartment to play a game called "Cards Against Humanity" for a couple of hours, which was SUPER fun!! For real!! That game is 1000 times better than Apples to Apples. I suggest buying it ASAP. It can only be bought online, but still... It's most definitely worth it :-)

Once Adam and I came back to the apartment, we both went to bed because we were just so tired :-P True story. Now, I've gotta go, so until the next time... Stay fabulous!! Ciao!!
