Whelp... No Work for Kassy

Day 142

Hola!! I was totally supposed to work a 4-10 closing shift today, and I was prepared with a super cute outfit, just completely ready to go, by like 3:15. I even had time to make some Mac n' Cheese. Right when I put the noodles into the water, I get a call from one of the managers-in-training at my work telling me that I'm not needed. Fantastic.

So, I changed out of my work outfit to preserve it for another shift and into a different one, and then I continued to make my Mac n' Cheese. It was pretty yummy :-) I ended up walking to get the mail while Adam relaxed after work, and then for dinner, we decide to go to Olive Garden. Originally, we had planned on making this parmesan chicken stuff, but, um... it didn't work out. Kind of burnt it a little bit. So, yeah... definitely went to Olive Garden, which was delicious!!

My outfit today consisted of a galaxy-printed Workshop shirt that has Aztec designs on the front ($6 at Plato's) with a navy Old Navy cardigan ($6 at Plato's). Pretty fabulous :-) I also went with my cropped holey American Eagle skinny jeans ($25 on sale). Love it!!

I did my hair super cute in a ballerina bun since I didn't feel like washing it :-P

Ballerina Bun + Pretty Makeup = FABULOUS!!

For shoes, I went with my brown Mossimo combat boots ($10ish at Plato's) and a pair of off-white BKE boot socks ($6 after discount). It's a fabulous look :-)

After dinner, Adam and I ended up watching that "About Time" movie. It was REALLY good :-) The rest of the night was spent relaxing. Pretty great for an in-promptu day off. I have to get going, so until the next time... Stay fabulous, my lovelies!! Ciao!!
