It's SO Nice Out!!

Day 147

Hey!! So, Adam and I didn't do a whole lot today, but since we had the day off together, we decided to make beef stew (which takes like 6 hours) and make a quick Target run while it was cooking. Other than that, we just spent a lot of time relaxing together. It was nice :-) AND it was ridiculously nice out, which helped make the day that much better.

I decided to wear a fairly simple outfit today, which consisted of a cream Forever 21 top that has puffy lace sleeves ($9) and a pair of navy Lilly Pulitzer shorts that have anchors printed on them and a scalloped hem. They were literally on clearance for $1 at Plato's closet. LOVE IT!!

Now, it's important to point out that these shorts, that I got for $1, normally run around $70. I'd say I got a pretty fantastic deal on them ;-)

Old Nay flats (different site)

For shoes, I wore the chevron-printed pointy-toed Old Navy flats that I've had for forever. I think I paid like $10 for them?? Anyways... I do love them :-)

The beef stew turned out amazingly, in case you guys were wondering, and I did actually help make it. Shocker, right?! Adam and I ate it while we watched this independent movie called Drinking Buddies. It was a pretty good movie, but the ending was terrible. Just a heads up in case you ever decide to watch it.

Once Adam went to bed, I stayed up to finish my Outlander book, which was really good!! I have to get going, so until the next time.... Stay fashionable and fabulous, my lovelies!! Ciao!!
