Tuesday Means Day Off with My Love

Day 140

Hey!! So, Adam and I had planned on getting up by 9:30 to go to Busch Garden's for the day, but when my alarm went off for us to get up, well... neither of us moved a muscle. We just kept on sleeping. And when my second alarm when off for 10:30, the same exact same thing happened. Apparently, we were both super tired, to the point where we needed to sleep in until noon. So much for a day at Busch Gardens :-P

Since it was already noon by the time we got up, we quickly got ready and headed on over to Jersey Mike's for lunch. YUM!! Since we were already over by the mall, Adam and I quickly popped in so I could put $50 towards my Buckle Card since my online account is nonexistent for some reason. That, and I'm just too lazy to want to call the support line only to deal with automated menus.

Since it was super nice out and I felt like being super girly, I opted for a peacock green satin Rory Beca for XXI high-low maxi dress that has cutout detailing along the bottom. I had bought this dress from Plato's Closet a while ago for like $12. When the Rory Beca for XXI collection came out in 2012, everyone was super excited because you got the Forever 21 price tag with the Rory Beca fashion. Keep in mind that Rory Beca dresses online sell for around $350 depending on the dress. So, I most definitely got an amazing deal :-)

When I first saw this dress, I wasn't sure how I felt about it because the material kind of makes it look like some kind of nightgown, but when I put it on, I was like "I HAVE to have this!!" True story :-)

I love the cutout detailing on the bottom!!
I then added a metallic gold braided belt to emphasize my waist. Now, I have no idea where I got this belt or how much I paid for it because I've literally had it for forever. True story.

I decided to wear the same pointy-toed Old Navy chevron-striped flats (about $8 on sale) that I wore yesterday because they went really, really well with my dress. Deal with it ;-)

Once Adam and I got back to the apartment, we just relaxed until heading on over to the International Plaza Mall for dinner at The Pub (I had Fish n' Chips since they're the best ones I've ever had). Dinner was delicious, as it always is. After that, I stopped into Urban Outfitters and bought a pair of high-waisted greenish cropped skinny jeans for $20. They were originally $58. WIN!! Adam had to pick up some stuff from GNC, and then we walked around the mall for a bit until heading back to the apartment.

Adam and I watched ended up renting About Time on the XBOX, and it was REALLY good!! I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for an awkward-yet-funny romantic movie :-) After the movie ended, we relaxed until I had to get ready for bed. Overall, I'd say it was a pretty great day off with my love, which is always a good thing :-)

Well, my lovelies, I have to jet, so until the next time... Stay freaking fabulous!! Ciao!!
