It's All About the Hair :-)

Day 175

Hey guys!! Today has been a MUCH better day!! I woke up at 8, showered, got ready, and stopped by Starbucks quick before heading on over to my 9:15 hair appointment at this place called Salon Nima. The girl who owns it shops at Buckle a ton (and so does her boyfriend), so she's pretty close to everyone who works there. Most of the girls at Buckle will get their hair done by her, and since the Buckle team is considered a family to her, she'll give them a discounted price. Hence, me setting up an appointment to make my hair pretty again :-)

So, I got there for my appointment at 9:15, and I didn't end up leaving the salon until like 1:30 or so. It didn't really take that long for her to do my hair, don't worry. There just happened to be 2 people come in while she was helping me, and since she was the only person working, it got a wee bit busy. My hair color had to set for a while, and then once it was washed out, a conditioning serum was put on my hair that also had to set, so I told her it was totally OK for her to help the first person while my color was setting and help the second while the conditioning stuff was in. Hey, I didn't have anything going on for the rest of the day, so I was totally OK with just relaxing in her salon (it's really nice, the windows/doors were open, and an amazing breeze was coming in).

During my appointment, she colored my hair, washed/conditioned it, put in a conditioning serum, cut it, and then completely styled it, all for a whopping $60!! AMAZING!! And she did SUCH a good job!! Not only that, but she was super social and we got along really, really well, so I am definitely going to her every time I need my hair done (so every 6 weeks :-P).

Since it was a high 70, breezy, and not too humid today, I decided to wear a ¾- length light-blue-and-white-striped Forever 21 loose-fitting top ($12 online a while back) and my holey American Eagle cropped skinny jeans ($25 on sale). Comfy, cute, and perfect for the weather :-)

For shoes, I wore a pair of Madden Girl brown boots (Plato's for $14) that have these cool strap things along the back. I LOVE THEM!! They're so fabulous, it's ridiculous!!

PRETTY HAIR!!
And the back :-)

LOVE IT!!
After I left the salon, I stopped by this Japanese market to pick up a snack for my project on the Japanese Culture that's tomorrow, and then I headed on over to Sally's to get some shampoo and conditioner that's meant for red hair. The stuff I got actually has a little bit of red dye in it to help prevent my color from fading too much.

Once done with my errands, I went home to FaceTime my sisters and relax until Adam got home. He had an extended shift today in preparation for the air show, so he worked from 4am-5:30pm or so. Fun, right?! He was super hungry when he got home, so we went to Village Inn for dinner, which was pretty yummy. After that, we went home so Adam could shower and lay in bed. I ended up laying in bed, too, working on homework until he needed to go to sleep.

For the rest of the night, I just did homework. That's it. It was great, but not really. I've got to go, so until the next time... Stay fabulous and forever trending, my fellow fashionistas!! Ciao!!
