Working So Hard on a Saturday

Day 165

Hey!! I finally had another work shift (9-4), and it went really well :-) My sales goal was $1000 but I only needed like $780 in order to average $130 per hour, and I ended at like $815 or so. WIN!! I was pleasantly surprised how well my shift went today, but regardless of how well it went, I'm still planning on finding a different job where I can get 25-30 hours every week. True story.

For work today, I wore a cream Pinky crochet top (about $25 after discount) with a dark tan camisole underneath and my teal BKE holey infinity scarf ($10 after discount). I LOVE this top a lot because it's not only super fabulous, but it's also really comfy and breathable so I won't get too hot when I wear it. I decided to go with my lighter wash pair of Daytrip skinny jeans (about $30 after discount).

I then added my metallic gold Twisted flats that were like $15 after my discount since they went with my outfit really well while still being super comfy :-)

Now, if you look very, very closely at the picture above, you can see an odd color "bump" on the outside of each flat. Well, that's where my feet broke through my shoes... Towards the end of my work shift, I noticed that I broke my my flats at some point during the day. I guess you could say that I worked so hard I broke my flats...

Broken flats are never a good thing... Ever.

While at work today, I was told several times that my eyes were really pretty, and once I actually took a look at them in the mirror, I discovered that the color was way more blue than normal, which NEVER happens!! So, I jus thad to take a picture so show that yes, my eyes are supposed to be blue :-P

Once I got home from work, Adam and I relaxed for a bit before making our Maggiano leftovers for dinner, which are super delicious, by the way :-) Since Adam had to go to bed early for work the next morning, I spent the rest of the night reading more of my Outlander series. IT'S SO FREAKING GOOD!! FOR REAL!!
