This morning I woke up early to get ready to visit the Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City with a group of my sorority sisters. We were meeting at my chapter house around 10, so I had to wake up around 8 to get ready. Gross. :P But at least we stopped at Starbucks along the way so I could get my energy burst from the Starbucks Refreshers!
It took a little over an hour to get there, and once we got there, we started making spaghetti for the families there to eat for lunch. It ended up only taking us less than half an hour to make the food, so we spent more time driving there and back than we did at the house. -_-
Before leaving Iowa City we went out for lunch to Noodles and Company and had a nice time bonding and chatting. I got the DELICIOUS Wisconsin Mac and Cheese, with a strawberry lemonade! YUM! :) It was super filling, so I was set for the rest of the day. :P lol
We got home around 2:30, so I walked over to the SigEp house, hung out with Gage and took a nap until I needed to head home to get ready for chapter meeting.
Meeting was okay. It was a little long for my taste, but that's typical. :P lol
Overall, I had a great day, and I'm not looking forward to going back to classes tomorrow. :P
