Not a Fan of Mondays

Day 160

Hey guys!! So, unfortunately, I'm still not feeling a whole lot better. Still have the stuffy, runny nose, the sore throat, the watering eyes, and the unsettled stomach caused by nose drainage (YUCK). I've discovered a new symptom, too... An occasional annoying cough. Fantastic. Looks like I probably won't be able to shake this cold anytime soon. Oh well... Life goes on.

Speaking of life going on regardless of having a cold or not, I did have to get up super early to be at my field experience from 8:30-10:30. I had to be up by 7 in order to leave no later than 7:50 (I didn't have to wash my hair) so I wouldn't be late. Definitely super tired from not sleeping well, so getting up was incredibly difficult.

My field experience went pretty well. Nothing crazy or bad happened, which was good. Once 10:30 came around, I drove on over to campus for my 11-12:30 class where we had a chapter test. Normally, tests don't take me very long and aren't too difficult for me. Today, however, was the exception. For some reason, I was struggle-busing it pretty hard to get it done before class ended. Not good. I don't think I did bad on it, but still... Not good.

For the next hour and a half, I worked on homework while sitting outside the room my 2-3:30 class meets in. That class was full of a ton of notes, yet again. Definitely not fun. And the mid-term, that I haven't even started studying for, is on Wednesday. Fantastic. We did get let out like 30 minutes early, though, so that was a bonus.

The two and a half hours after that class were spent finishing up some homework and working on the posts for this blog. Not very exciting, but still needed to get done. My 6-9 class went somewhat smoothly considering I was on my computer the whole time working on the blog :-P Good news, though, was that we ended up getting out an hour early. That was a good way to end my school day.

My outfit today consisted of an ivory lace Anthropologie tank top ($35 on eBay) that used to be a high-low tunic before I edited it to meet my needs, an ivory-and-dark-navy printed Daytrip cardigan (about $17 after discount), and my basic dark wash American Eagle skinny jeans ($35). So comfy, yet still reasonably fashionable :-)

I love the patterns/textures on my cardigan and tank top. I think they look fabulous next to each other while not being too over-the-top :-)

I ended up slipping on my teal Mossimo pointy-toed flats that have little holes in them (on clearance for $5) before I left the apartment because they add a pop of color, are really comfy, and were easily accessible when I needed to leave. True story :-P

When my last class ended, I made a quick pit stop at McDonald's for some dinner since I hadn't really eaten anything today before I headed on home. Once I got home, I talked to Adam for a bit, changed into my PJs, worked on the blog for a bit, and then started the third book in my Outlander series, all before calling it a night and going to bed.

I've got to get going, so until the next time... Stay fabulous, my fellow fashionistas!! Ciao!!
