Day Off #2

Day 295

Hey!! So, even though I had another day off today, I managed to talk myself into the 6am kickboxing and boxing basics class and the following 6:30am strength training class at EmpowerBoxing. I actually did pretty well today, but I can tell that I'm going to be incredibly sore :-P

Afterwards, I came home, showered, took a really long nap, ate a smaller lunch, and laid around for a bit before realizing that staying inside all day isn't a very smart idea since it was slowly making me more and more sad. Basically, laying around made me feel like I was waiting for Adam to come home from work because that's how my days off go when Adam has to work. Then, I began to realize that I wasn't actually waiting for him to come home because he's gone on his deployment, and it reminded me how lonely I've been. Hence, me becoming incredibly sad...

So, I took matters into my own hands, got dressed, packed up the beautiful Michael Kors tote I bought weeks ago with all my purse stuff and my laptop stuff, and headed on over to Starbucks to relax on my computer for a few hours. That helped a LOT, let me tell you.

My outfit today consisted of a bow-printed Daytrip top from Buckle ($28 or so) and my favorite holey cropped American Eagle skinny jeans ($25 on sale). Nothing too special, but I was aiming more so for comfort than anything else. True story.

I LOVE the bow on this top!!

I then added some mint green Forever 21 sandals ($8 on sale) for some color. They're so comfy, and I couldn't believe how inexpensive they were when I purchased them a long time ago. SCORE!!

Something that's been helping me deal with Adam being gone is sending him selfies throughout the day so I have something to "dress up" for and so he can "see" my face like he used to when he was home. He really appreciates it, too :-) I decided to include one of those selfies today so you can get an idea of what they generally look like.

But first, let me take a selfie ;-)
After Starbucks, I came home, ate a small dinner, relaxed for a bit, and then went to bed. Nothing too exciting or interesting to report. What can I say... It's just been a relaxing day off :-) I'm going to head out, so until the next time... Stay fabulous, my lovelies!! Ciao!!
