Sad Sunday Means Starbucks Time

Day 299

Hey!! So, today is the day that Adam leaves his training program in Texas to go overseas to his deployment spot, which means he's officially gone. Up until now, I've basically convinced myself that he's just "on vacation" or something along those lines, but knowing that he's on a 10-hour flight to another country far away to be there for the next 6 months is a completely different story than just being in Texas for 3 weeks...

Basically, today hasn't been easy on me. I didn't even get out of bed until almost 1:30pm, and that was only because Adam called me in-between his flights. From there, I lounged around on the couch watching TV mindlessly until going back into the bedroom around 3:30pm or so to take a nap. I got up around 5:30pm when Adam called me again, showered, took my time getting ready, talked to Adam again around 6:15pm, and then decided to get out of the funk I'm in and go to Starbucks to utilize their free WiFi.

The outfit I went with today consisted of a printed white JollyChic.com top ($14) that is ridiculously comfortable and my favorite pair of cropped holey American Eagle skinny jeans ($25 on sale).

The graphic print on this top is what sold me on it, for real. Anything that has any form of a mustache on it is something I HAVE to have. True story.

Since my outfit was basically black-and-white (with "blue" jeans thrown in), I decided to go with my teal pointy-toed American Eagle flats ($7.50 on sale). They're comfy, a pretty color, and easily one of my favorite pairs of shoes.

I spent a good portion of the rest of the evening in Starbucks in order to avoid being depressed in my empty apartment. Thank goodness for Starbucks for both it's relaxing atmosphere, delicious drinks and food items, free WiFi, and close proximity to my apartment, for real. From Starbucks, I went home, changed into PJ's, relaxed for a bit watching TV, got my workout stuff ready for the next morning, and then went to bed. Nothing too exciting or interesting here.

I'm going to get going now, so until the next time... Stay fabulous, my lovelies!! Ciao!!
