Hey!! I worked out from 6am-7am again, making me sore while full of energy. It's great ;-) I also worked an opening 9:45-3 shift today that was... interesting to say the least. My department manager had talked to the [main] coworker I've been having problems with about everything that's been going down, and I guess this coworker used tears to her advantage and broke down crying while saying that everyone is bullying her and that she has a "lot" going on right now. My department manager talked to me about this, basically saying that she's not taking sides, but that we do need to not talk about this coworker at work and just be nice to said coworker while still making sure to bring any issues directly to her instead of talking about it amongst ourselves.
In other words... I'm going to be cordial and professional to this coworker while we're working together until something happens. If the coworker can change her not-so-nice ways and stop doing the sales equivalent of stabbing me in the back, then of course I'll be nice to her and try to be her friend like I was in the beginning. If she continues to act all nice to me while continuing to pull the stuff she does, then I will politely call her out on it while informing my department manager of all the happenings and what not. So, yeah... That's the interesting part of my shift :-P
The rest of my work day went pretty well. I did manage to go slightly over my sales quota/goal for the day, which is never a bad thing. And I received a lot of compliments on my outfit: a RoseGal.com blazer ($15), a metallic chevron-sriped Daytrip tank top from Buckle ($28), and navy cropped Gianni Bini skinny pants from Dillard's ($30 or so on sale) with some plain white H&M flats ($12).
