Sister, Sister: #HappilyObsessed

At maurices, we have two specific favorite sayings. One of these is "Look good, feel good, sell good," and the other is "#HappilyObsessed." We interchange that last statement out quite often though for different versions of the phrase, such as "#DenimObsessed." Cool fact for the day. :)

I definitely looked good today in my new outfit from maurices! I felt hot, too, and all of this helped me to sell like a mamma-jamma in the store! What what!!!

I am also #HappilyObsessed with my job and my new clothes, AND my co-workers! I had such a blast working with Kelsie today, and we really just get each other. It makes the shift fun! Plus, I have been feeling so stylish and good about myself lately. It's such a turnaround from how I used to be just a few years ago.

Here's a little Flashback Friday for ya! : I used to be super down on myself all the time. I had some toxic people in my life, who made me look at myself like the ugliest creature on the planet, and it really did some deep damage. Lucky for me, I now have an amazing boyfriend who reminds me everyday that I'm beautiful, inside and out, and hearing that every day has begun to heal my old wounds I had inflicted on myself. Another thing that has helped me is working at maurices. I never would have thought, in a thousand years, that working in retail would make my self-esteem sky rocket from where it lied for most of my life! Just getting into the fitting room to try on new product and hearing the compliments of my coworkers on the look makes me feel a million times better. My coworkers may not know it, but they are truly a blessing in disguise! I love them- and Gage- so much! :)

Enough mushy-gushy yuckness. :P

Today was a long day. I didn't get the chance to nap after Roc, so I was super fading towards the end of the work day. Plus, I got my monthly visitor at work, which is why I didn't get a good night's sleep last night, hence my lack of energy today. I wanted to pass out for the rest of the night directly after work!

Gage had come over after work, so he was waiting for me when I got off. He was taking me back to his apartment with him for the night, but we stopped at Panera for dinner to-go beforehand. Yum! :)

After we ate, I starting getting drowsy. Here it is, only 7:30pm and I'm starting to fade out. I'll probably pass out in the next ten/fifteen minutes. I'm such an old fogey. But really though. It's become a sad life that I live...lol
