Today marks 25 years of marriage for my parents!!! How crazy?! I can't believe it's actually been that long...
Even though today wasn't really anything special for me, it still means something to me. So many couples these days have separated and given up on the love they once shared. I feel like there are only a select few remaining that have whipped out 25 years of marriage together like my parents have. My parents- and really my whole family in general- have been through many ups and downs, but they still stick through it all and show my sisters and I what it means to have patience, kindness, love and so much more! Without them, I wouldn't know what it truly means to love someone with all your heart. I hope one day I can look back on 25 years of marriage too! :)
Unfortunately for me, I had to close at work tonight. I was a little bummed at first, because I don't really care for closing, and because I was wanting to do something special for my parents with my sisters. It did end up working out just fine though because they decided to go out for dinner, so they were preoccupied with plans for the night. THANK THE LORD.
After the store was all closed up, after a gruesome, long, and slow night, I headed over to the apartment for the night, and here I am now. It's time for some shuteye now!
