Happy 18th birthday to my baby sister, Katy!!! :)
I'm super stoked for her to finally join the big girl world, and experience what it means to be an adult!
After Gage dropped me off at home today, I took a baby cat nap, and got up by 9am. I took my half shower- just washing my body and shaving- and then finished getting ready for the day ahead.
Mom, Katy, and I had plans to go shopping for Katy's birthday and run some errands, so we left the house around 10:30 to head to the DOT for Katy to get her full license, saying she is 18. :) While we did that, mom ran to the grocery store, and picked us up afterwards, when we all then went to Sam's Club.
My mom's older sister, Aunt Marnae, met us back at our house around 1pm. We had invited her to join us for lunch and shopping for the afternoon since she had to work tonight during Katy's birthday party. We headed out for the bank, lunch at Pancheros, and then to maurices for Katy to get some new birthday/Aveda clothes.
After about an hour or so of shopping, Katy came out with 14 pieces of clothing for a little over $100, all while saving $250! You can't pass that up! She got 2 fun tanks for Florida (when she goes to visit Kassy in a week in a half), a cute button-up top, dress capris, dress pants, a jumpsuit, a cardigan/topper, a dress and much more! Such great deals! :)
We have Katy's birthday party starting here soon, so I better get going! Be back tomorrow! :)
