Can you believe it?! It was ACTUALLY nice outside today! I got to wear shorts! SHORTS PEOPLE! :)))
On a less positive note, I am completely exhausted from yesterday. The open house was draining. :P
I had a hard time waking up this morning for work. I had to be at maurices at 11am, with the hopes of getting off before I was scheduled to be off, which was 5:30pm.
THANK GOD we were dead most of the day and there were too many of us! I went on my break around 2pm, and not even 30 minutes into my hour break, one of managers came into the back of the store, asking me if I'd be okay with leaving then. We were too slow and there was no point for myself and another one of my coworkers to be there if no one in the store. :P
After work, I relaxed in my room and got caught up on my Bravo shows until Katy, Jake and I left the house at 5:30 to go to Kimmy's dance recital. FYI: Dance recitals are boring as eff! I don't know if it was long just because the dancing sucked- minus Kimmy's dances- or because I was tired, but I think it was definitely a combination between that and other things. Then, to top it off, they had a bunch of technical difficulties, so the show took even longer! Ugh. I was there for over 3 hours, not getting me home until after 9pm, and I had yet to eat dinner. -_- Let's just say I'm glad it's done and over with!
