As Kristen Wig, one of my favorite actresses once said in a favorite movie of mine, "Bridesmaids," "Who's ready to partay?!" This was most definitely the theme of the day - and the entire week- as we prepared for my younger sister's open house!
After working 10am-4pm, I headed home to help my parents and Katy set up for her open house, for graduation, that was to start at 6. There was a lot of work to still be done...
Work went okay. We were busy in the morning and early afternoon, but then right around 2 or so we got really slow, so I was sent home at hour early at 4. No complaints here. :)
I helped my mom set up the food, I did some cleaning inside the garage, and I helped my dad set up the bar out back. I would like to point out the fact that I did all of this manual labor while wearing a blazer AND white capris. I am so nice. ;) lol But really though.
The open house went really well! Other than it being a bit chilly outside, we stayed relatively warm in the garage and there were quite a few people that came! So that's good. :)
The party was such a success that we had people at house until almost 1 in the morning, and the open house was only from 6-9pm! It was a tiring day, for sure!
