Sister, Sister: Pier1 Is A Dangerous Place...

I should not have agreed to work today. -_-

I've had Wednesdays requested off for the entire summer, but with Gage being gone it's not a huge deal to have them off anymore, which is why when Kelsie called me yesterday with an emergency, I told her I could help on the last four and a half hours of her shift. I shouldn't have been so nice.

ROC has been absolutely killer this week! I was dead afterwards. :P I think the worst part about it being so tough was that I wasn't able to fall asleep during my usual nap time and I had to stand on my feet all day. It only put me in more pain.

I went to take a nap, and I just laid there, tossing and turning, for forty-five minutes. I was so frustrated that I couldn't fall asleep. So instead, I ate breakfast, got ready for the day, tidied up my room, and went off to run some errands. I had found a gift card in my old wallet for Pier1 Imports, so I stopped there to check out what they had on clearance; I was VERY successful! I ended up staying in the store for over an hour. :P lol

While I was there, I snagged a packing checklist, a missed calls notepad (for the fridge), four glasses, three decorative spheres, five coasters, six plates, two bowls, a chess piece salt and pepper shaker, five placemats, a leopard print sleep mask, and a spatula, all for $59, so it only cost me $9. Whoop whoop! :)

Work was long today. I was only there from 12-4:30, but the store was absolutely dead so the three of us working were fighting- not really fighting- over every customer that walked through the door. It sucked. I was so ready to get out of there!

After I left good ole maurices, I went to Target, then home, and finally to Taco Bell, for dinner, with Katy and Kimmy. Now that I'm 21, Kimmy can drive with me with just her permit because immediate family members only have to be at least 21. So she chauffeured Katy and I to Taco Bell and thought she was some hot shot. :P lol

Well I'm just about to head to bed! The last thing I'm doing for the day is Skyping with Gage and then finally passing out. Night! :)
