I did not want to leave Clive. I was so sad all last night and this morning, just thinking about leaving Gage behind there...I could barely sleep I was so upset.
I got everything packed up around 10:30 this morning, and had a delicious brunch with Gage and his grandparents. After everything got cleaned up, I finished packing, grabbed my bags, and Gage walked me out to my car. :(
I tried to keep my cool as we said our goodbyes, or, rather, see you laters. It didn't work too well. I started crying, of course. I just kept thinking of how it'll be at least a month until I get to see him again. We've gone longer without seeing each other, so I know I can handle it, but it's going to be harder now that I got used to seeing him just about every day. :/ Keep me in your thoughts and prayers so I can stay strong through this next month or so! I'd really appreciate it.
I got back to Cedar Falls a couple minutes past 2 in the afternoon. I showered for the day and got into my work clothes, since I had to be at work at 5. The daycare kids definitely made me feel better! They are always so happy and loving towards me. :)
Well I'm off to work! Hopefully I'm kept busy so I don't have to think about Gage all night!
