Day 324
Hi!! Since I had to work at 9:45 this morning and the earliest workout class was at 9:30, I didn't actually get to workout today like I would've liked. It sucks big time to miss a day because the next time I go kicks my butt even more than normal. Ughh :-/ Oh well.
Work today was so freaking slow, I thought I was going to loose my mind. For real. It was terrible. BUT my work outfit was pretty cute, so that's good, right?! It consisted of a cute patterned Daytrip top from Buckle ($28) and my cropped navy Gianni Bini skinny pants from Dillard's ($40 or so on sale). I really liked the color combo :-)
I felt like adding some more pizzazz to my outfit, so I threw on a beautiful layered necklace I bought from Dillard's for $17 or so on sale. Yes, I love this necklace, and yes, I do wear it a lot, and no, that's not going to change anytime soon. Deal with it ;-)
I kept the shoes simple and chose a pair of pointy-toed lighter brown
Rue21 flats ($15 or so).
After work (around 2:30 or so), I went home to change into a more comfortable outfit to run some errands. This outfit consisted of a Disney Princess tee from
Hot Topic ($15) and my cropped holey
American Eagle skinny jeans ($25 on sale).
I threw on my teal pointy-toed
American Eagle flats ($7.50 on sale) since they're super comfy and go with my outfit and called it good :-)
So, my errands consisted of taking the Ford Focus (which hasn't really been driven since Adam left... oops), putting gas in it, and then filling up the tires with air since they're super low. Well, I decided to do all this at the gas station across the street from my apartment complex, not realizing that their air machine was super stupid while costing a $1 to use. Between the ridiculously hot temperature and trying to use the air machine that wouldn't actually fill up my tires, I got really frustrated really fast, on top of getting really, really hot. I ended up wasting a $1 in change and having to go home to change out of my now-sweaty tee. Fantastic.
I ended up changing into a mustache tank top I had made at one of the shops on Madeira Beach when Korry came to stay with me a while back since it's super light weight.
The back of it is super cute, by the way :-)

I chose a pair of black
Cooperative flats I bought from Plato's Closet for like $8 or so a while back.
Once I changed and cooled off a bit, I did some research on places that have free air to fill up my tires. One of them ended up being really close to this place called Red Elephant Cafe that I like, so I made the executive decision to go there for dinner before filling up my tires. This is the first time I've actually gone someplace to sit down for dinner by myself in an incredibly long time, and let me tell you, it actually went pretty well. I grabbed one of the free newspapers they had inside the door, ordered a delicious french dip and fries, filled up my glass with some strawberry lemonade and sweet tea, and had myself a nice relaxing dinner :-)
The place I went to fill up my tires is a gas station called WaWa, and let me tell you something: their air machine is AMAZING!! Not only is it free, but it's also automated and super fast, meaning you put in what PSI you want your tire(s) at, put the nozzle to the tube thingy on the tire, and it'll fill it up to whatever PSI you wanted and stop automatically. SO freaking easy, I love it!!
After that, I went home to do some laundry and the dishes before relaxing for the rest of the evening. Overall, I think I did pretty well today :-) All right, my lovelies, I'm going to call it "good" for this post, so unit the next time... Stay fabulous!! Ciao!!
