Day Off and Laying Out

Day 108

Hey!! Guess who had a day off?! This girl did!! And guess who laid out by the pool for an hour?! This girl did!! It was a great start to my day, that's for sure :-) I slept in until like 1pm, got up, got ready, and then went to the pool to lay out while reading the third book in my series (Allegiant), which was also REALLY REALLY GOOD!!

After laying out, I tested out the new dry shampoo I bought at Target last night. It's called Invisible Shampoo by Salon Grafix, and it comes in a spray container like hairspray does, and I LOVE IT!! It doesn't leave any white residue or make my hair feel weird, which is fantastic :-) Then, I figured I should probably get ready, so I did :-P I also managed to start the laundry, do the dishes, and unload the dishwasher, too!!

I ended up wearing a blue WallpapHER top that has little white birds on it and a scalloped hem ($25 from Von Maur a long time ago) with a plain pair of dark wash American Eagle skinnies ($35). Simple, yet really cute :-)

By the time I finished the dishes, unloaded the dishwasher, got a load of laundry done, and finished getting ready, it was time for Adam and I to head out to Westshore Pizza (the one closest to us) with the Montgomerys to enjoy a pizza dinner with them and the Williams, one of Adam's friends from work and his friend's wife. We've all hung out before, but it's been a long time since the six of us have been able to hang out together since Williams (the guy) switched elements when he changed to boat patrols. It was a really fun time, and the pizza was pretty good :-)

Afterwards, Adam and I came back to the apartment to relax. Well, OK, let's be real here... he relaxed while I read the third book in my series some more in between doing the laundry :-P I'm just glad I was able to get the laundry done AND finish my book before 2am, personally. And yes, you did read that right... I started and finished my book within 24hrs just like the other two. And yes, I know... I am ridiculous :-P But let me just say that THIS SERIES WAS INCREDIBLY AMAZING!!!!

All right, I have to go finish up one more post so I can go to bed. Until I finish it (which will hopefully be relatively soon)... Stay scholarly, my fellow fashionistas :-) Ciao!!
