Howdy!! So... I kind of slept in until 2pm today... because I stayed up until like 6am to finish my fourth Vampire Academy book and start my fifth... Oops :-P I'm just addicted to good series once I start them, which is kind of bad, but don't worry, I don't regret my choices one bit. My book was really REALLy good, just like the other three :-)
I only woke up today because Adam had called me on his way home from work, which means I probably could've slept in longer :-P So, I quickly got my butt up, showered, and got ready, all by like 2:45, so that Adam and I could get all of the errands done that we needed to. We ran to Target to get an air mattress, some groceries, and decorative items for our guest bathroom. It ended up being like a $500 purchase since the air mattress alone was almost $200 (it's a really, really nice one), but it's OK because we budgeted for it :-)
After Target, we came home, put everything away, and clean a bit before dinner. We actually ended up going to Olive Garden over by the mall I work in (I had a margarita, an order of Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara, and endless Chicken Gnocchi soup, which is like a chicken and dumpling soup, all of which was YUMMY!!), and then we headed on over to Buckle so I could finally pay off my two layaways, which was super fantastic!! I can finally wear all of those items that I've been wanting for the past month or so. Exciting, right?! Right :-)
For my outfit today, I went with a basic black Cotton On tee ($10 on sale) under a white Converse One Star asymmetrical jacket ($25 on sale at Target) with a gray-and-floral-printed BKE infinity scarf ($10 after discount). Cute, right?! Pretty good for just throwing an outfit together real quick, right?! Right :-) To add some color, I went with a pair of dark teal Mossimo skinnies that I've had for forever (like $28 I think??), which fit me really, really well, by the way. Just saying :-)
