Day 118

Howdy all!! How's it going?! Today, I woke up much earlier than I would've preferred, especially since I didn't have class for MLK Day. The reason is because the couch we bought yesterday was supposed to be delivered anytime between 9am and 11am, and I wanted to make sure I was up and what not just in case it was actually 9am when they dropped it off. Around 8:30 or so, Kat woke me up to ask me if I would like coffee from Starbucks and anything breakfast-wise from McDonald's since Dan was out and going to get some for the both of them. Obviously, I said yes :-P

I got up like 15 minutes after that when Adam came home from work early since I just apparently had to be up with him. By the time I came out into the main living area, my coffee and parfait were waiting for me. YUM!! Definitely a great start to my day, even though I did have to wake up early. For the next hour or so, I just relaxed while watching Beauty and the Beast on DVD with Adam, Dan, and Kat (she's a HUGE Disney princess girl like I am). Then, around 10 or so, our couch was delivered. I was super prepared and had the spot where I wanted it all cleared out and everything :-)

After that, I showered and got ready so I was ready in case we figured out something to do. I actually ended up walking to the Golden Corral that's right next to our complex for lunch with Kat and Dan (Adam had already eaten lunch and needed to go pick up Montgomery from work on base). We got back to the apartment around 1pm, and then we did some searching to figure out something to do. Kat ended up finding tickets for a Chocolate Festival at the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa where we could go to the festival, look around the museum, and go to a chocolate and wine tasting.

We left for that around 2pm, got there around 2:30pm, and then just enjoyed ourselves for the next couple of hours. It was pretty fun :-) I ended up discovering that I do like some kinds of wine after the chocolate and wine tasting, so that's good, right? ;-) We took off around 4:45pm and made our way on over to the Citrus Park Mall where I work to eat dinner at BJ's. It was delicious!! I had a deep dish pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and some parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. YUM!! I also had a really yummy strawberry margarita with a sugar rim :-)

My outfit today consisted of a cream Daytrip sweater (about $20 after discount), a dark tan Charlotte Russe camisole ($5), my teal BKE holey infinity scarf ($10 after discount), and a pair of dark teal Mossimo skinnies ($28ish). It was a really, really cute outfit :-)

I love how there's just this little bit of detailing on my sweater to give it that something extra. It's too bad that it's no longer available at Buckle :-/

For shoes, I wore the pair of zebra-esque TOMS that Kat and Dan had bought me on base yesterday. LOVE THEM!! I couldn't find these exact ones on the TOMS website, but I did find a pair of them on Amazon. Also, as a side note, there is a legitimate pair of zebra ones on the TOMS website, for anyone who might be interested in that kind of thing :-)

I also wore my light teal BKE chevron watch (about $18 after discount) again, shocker :-P I just love it!! That, and it's most definitely the only watch I own that has a working battery... True story.

After dinner, we came back to the apartment to relax and watch Pitch Perfect. LOVE that movie :-) Once the movie ended, everyone started getting ready for bed. I'm actually about to hit the hay myself, to be honest. I stayed up way too late last night finishing up the posts I'd fallen behind on, which means I didn't get very much sleep as I did also get up really, really early. Basically, yeah... I'm definitely tired. I've been yawning nonstop for the past few hours. It's kind of sad :-P So, until my next post...  stay fabulous and forever trending, my fellow fashionistas!! Ciao!!
