Hey guys!! So guess who had to go back to school today?! This girl, that's who!! It kind of sucked, I won't lie to you. It wouldn't have been so bad if I have had in-person classes regularly for the past year or so, but I've had mostly online classes... And this semester starts my in-person class days. Mondays and Wednesdays I have to leave for class around 10:15, get to my 11-12:25 class (Mathematics for Liberal Arts) on time, have an hour and a half to kill, go to my 2-3:25 class (Introduction to Diversity for Educators), have another break of two and a half hours, go to my 6-8:55 class (Mondays are Instructional and Adaptive Technology and Wednesdays are Science for All Students), and then hopefully make it back home before 9:45. Lots and lots of fun, right?! Wrong.
So, like I said, today was my first full day of classes in a while. I spent most of my time doing one of the following things:
1) being in class
2) running around campus
3) printing out a ridiculous amount of paper items for my classes (15 cents a page)
4) spending way too much money at the book store for school supplies and required class packets
5) sitting around on my computer
6) buying coffee/food in the student center
7) making sure I didn't get a ticket for parking in a customer parking space for the bookstore
Yup. Great stuff. And this gets to happen every single Monday and Wednesday until almost the end of April. YAY!! (Not) While I was in class, Adam took our Volkswagen to a car shop to get it fixed, which means we will be rocking one car for about 2 weeks. Another YAY!! (Not)
For this first day of class, I decided to look really cute while still being incredibly comfy, and I think it turned out really, really well :-) I wore a cute off-white Forever 21 graphic tee that says "Chasing Love" ($6 at Plato's) under a dark purple Zinc cardigan ($8 at Plato's) with my favorite off-white BKE infinity sweater scarf ($10 after discount). Really, really cute!! And instead of going with my normal non-work-day pant, I decided to wear a plain pair of dark wash American Eagle skinnies ($35) since it was a little bit chillier out. That, and I didn't want my legs to freeze :-P
