More Saturday Working

Day 109

Hi!! So, I worked yet another Saturday. It wasn't a bad day by any means, it was just weird working a 11:30-7 shift since I haven't done that in a really long time :-P The day was slow on and off again up until the end. The last hour and a half of my shift was pretty much dead. As in, there wasn't like anyone coming into the store. And there were 5 or 6 of us working. We just stood around talking for the most part. Oops :-P It was fun getting to know my coworkers, though, which is good. Then, right before I was getting ready to leave, a group I had helped earlier in the day came in to get 2 pairs of jeans ($72 for one and $95 for another), which gave my sales for the day a little boost.

For work today, I wore a plain black racerback tank top under the new BKE Boutique floral tank top I just got the other day (like $22 after discount), with the BKE Boutique burgundy cardigan that has studs on it (about $36 after discount) that I've had for a while. IT LOOKED SO FREAKING FABULOUS!! I ended up going with my BKE skinnies as well (about $45 after discount) because they're really comfy :-)

This tank top is so pretty, and it's brand new to our store. I just HAD to have it :-)

I did something weird today and wore a bunch of silver/gold BKE bangles that came in a set (about $8 after discount) along with my BKE chevron watch (about $18 after discount) since it's "highly recommended" for every employee to wear at least three different accessories each time they work. So, I have my watch and my bangle set, and then at work I bought a cuff bracelet (I'll include a picture of it later when I can put two gems that fell off back on it).

And, big shocker here, I wore my favorite off-white Not Rated heeled and bedazzled boots, again :-P I can't help it if they're my favorite... That, and they just so happen to match pretty much every single work outfit I've put together so far. Hey, it happens :-)

After work, I came home, changed into a comfy outfit (simple shorts and a plain black loose-fitting tee that doesn't even warrant a picture), and just relaxed with Adam for the rest of the night. I'm just proud of myself because I put the last little bit of laundry away without forgetting :-P We ended up watching Adam's Patriots play (and subsequently win), which was kind of exciting. At some point, I decided to take the time to catch up on the blog, as you can see now, which turned out to be a great decision even though it's like 2:20am now. No worries, though, this is my last post to catch up on, so it's all good :-) I can go to bed now... Thank goodness. Homegirl is tired :-P
