HaPpY nEw YeArS!!!!!! 2k14 :)

Day #99

Woof. Last night was a doozy. I'm so exhausted. :P

I got off work at 5, picked up some pizza from Little Caesar's for Gage, Jake, Katy and I, changed at Gage's house, and then we went to get Katy and head to the hockey game that started at 7. The game was a blast! The Blackhawks won - YAY- and I had fun with Gage, Katy and Jake. After the game, we ended up going to one of Gage's fraternity brothers' apartment, instead of the fraternity house. A couple of my sisters, who are dating his brothers, were in town so they came over as well, and we had a great time! When it came time for the countdown, Jake and Katy kissed - ooh la la ;)- and I got my very first New Year's Eve kiss! I know, it's lame. I'm twenty and just got my first NYE kiss, but it was special to me. I was waiting for someone who was worth my kiss, and Gage certainly earned it. :) Not too much after midnight we headed for Gage's house, where I stayed over.

When I woke up in the morning, I was in a world of hurt. My head hurt so bad and I was starving! Gage and I slept in until 11 or so, laid in bed for a little bit, and finally managed to get up and moving, getting some lunch. The Iowa Hawkeyes were playing in the Rose Bowl, against LSU, so I watched the first quarter with Gage while we ate, then I left for home to shower and get ready for the day. Once I was finally ready, Katy and I sat at home watching the last quarter of the game together. Unfortunately, we lost. :( But only by one touchdown, so it wasn't all that bad. Jake and Gage came over after the game to play Cards Against Humanity, which was fun, and then Gage stayed for dinner, while Jake headed back home. It was a good day all in all. :)

I decided to sport a little Iowa Hawkeye apparel today, so enjoy!
