Day 112
Hi!! I finished the first Vampire Academy book, and it was really good!! It's a different take on vampires, which I really like since vampire books can tend to be the same, and I'm pleasantly surprised about how much I like the series so far :-)
So, I had to work a 9:30-5 shift today (which is the only shift I have this week) that was just ridiculously slow. I'm talking like going-out-of-my-mind slow. For real. I thought I was going to go crazy. Not even kidding. I mean, it wasn't a bad day by any means. It was just really, really, really slow.
For work today, I wore a really cute cream Daytrip blouse that has a tuxedo back and studs on the sleeves (about $20 after discount) under my coral BKE Red cropped vest (about $15 after discount) with a plain tan camisole underneath. Cute, right?! And then I added my gray-and-floral-printed BKE infinity scarf ($10 after discount), which made it even better. LOVE IT!!
The back of this top is so fabulous!!
And look at how wonderful this scarf is :-)
AAAAND I love these sleeves :-) Also, check out how fabulous my light teal
BKE chevron watch is (like $22ish after discount) because it is just fabulous!!
I decided to wear a pair of cream
Not Rated short boots that I had gotten off of my Vinted app for like $15 after shipping. Online, they're like $70, so I got an amazing deal :-)
After work, I came home and immediately went to Target with Adam to get some much needed groceries since we definitely lacking in that area :-P For this Target trip, I changed into some comfier clothes, so white
Mossimo boyfriend tee ($9), a navy
Old Navy cardigan ($4 at Plato's), a white-and-floral-printed
American Eagle infinite scarf (on sale for $12), and my comfy pair of holey cropped
American Eagle skinnies ($25 on sale). Cute, comfy, and casual.
I love this scarf a lot, and it was actually the first infinity scarf I ever bought :-)
I then added my white no name flats that have little cutouts in them that I had bought from Plato's for like $9. I love them :-)
After Target, Adam and I came home, put the groceries away, and then he made eggs for dinner. Nothing too fancy, but still nice, yummy, and relaxing :-) Then, while Adam played a game on his computer, I began the second book, which is also really good so far. Yay!! But I also have a lot of posts to catch up on, so I'm going to go do that now, mmk? So, until the next one... Stay fabulous and book-nerdy :-) Ciao!!
