Hiya!! Dontcha just hate Mondays? Cuz I do :-P I wrote my schedule down wrong and went into work at 9 instead of 8, missing the team leader meeting... Not good. And then work was super slow, and I only rang up two people between 10 and 4:30... Also not good. Yikes!! BUT I did do several projects for my boss (fixing all of the mannequins, organizing and stickering the denim, and reorganizing the accessory tower), which she was super happy about... So that IS good :-)
I wanted to pull off a slightly Bohoish look today, so I wore several layers, two of which were super duper long :-P I was really comfy, though, which is always a good thing. With my Bohoish tops, I wore a dark wash pair of Daytrip skinny jeans, Virgo fit (about $35 after discount). These jeans are also super duper comfy :-) I actually recommend this fit to a lot of my guests because it's a "curvy" fit that about 80% of women can wear comfortably. Not trying to sell the brand/fit to you... Just pointing out a fact ;-)
My two long layers were a long tan sleeveless Daytrip lace vest (about $20 after discount) and a long off-white Gimmick by BKE lace cardigan with 3/4 sleeves (about $40 after discount). They went together surprisingly well (I wasn't expecting it, to be honest) :-P
Underneath, I wore a cute turquoise Daytrip shirt that has a fun pattern on the front (about $16 after discount). This shirt is actually one of my favorite Buckle purchases, and it's probably because teal/turquoise is one of my favorite colors along with the coral that's in the patterned part :-)
For shoes, I went with a semi-sparkly pair of light tan Not Rated lace-up flats (Plato's for $12!). LOVE THEM!! I have another pair that's super similar that I bought from Plato's as well, and I love that the Not Rated brand is exclusive to the Buckle. I had no idea about that before I started working at the Buckle, and I was super lucky to already have a couple pairs of shoes that are from (or sold at) the Buckle :-)
Ok, so my work day wasn't the greatest, but when I got home, my day instantly got better. Why? My husband surprised me with some beautiful flowers just because. I was so happy I cried :-) I literally have the world's best husband! We had a really relaxing night, AND we got to watch the new How I Met Your Mother episode for the first time EVER!! Normally, we have to wait for an old season to show up on Netflix because we don't have the time to watch each new episode as it comes on TV and/or we don't have the right channel to watch it. The episode itself was OK, but I really enjoyed being able to jus watch with with Adam :-)
Before I forget, after I posted the other night (so Sunday night), Adam and I went to see Frozen at the movie theater... AND IT WAS SO GOOD!!!! I LOVE DISNEY PRINCESS MOVIES!!!! Except for Brave. That one was just OK... Anyways... Go see Frozen. It's soooooo cute, and it made me super happy :-)
I have to go, but I'll post for today (Tuesday) later tonight. I'm at my field experience right now, so I kind of have to focus :-P So, until tonight... Stay fabulous, my lovelies!! Ciao!!
