Hi guys!! Merry Christmas!! Adam and I had a pretty good Christmas, and I hope you guys did, too!! We slept in until like 11:00 or so, ate breakfast, lounged around a bit, and then did a bunch of apartment cleanin in preparation for the Montgomerys coming over for dinner. By the time we got done cleaning, it was almost 2:00, so we figured it was probably time to shower and get ready for the day :-P
Once Adam and I were done getting ready (and once we ate a quick lunch), the Montgomerys came over. We ended up watching random Christmas movies on TV until it was discovered that the biscuits we were planning on making were super expired. As a group, we ended up making a quick grocery run to this sketch Mexican market place so we would have biscuits to make :-P After returning to the apartment, Adam and I started making dinner, with Nikki's help (Andrew helped peel a couple of potatoes). We made Parmesan chicken cutlets, smashed potatoes, canned corn, steamed broccoli, and the buttermilk biscuits, along with the margarita bucket we bought the day before. Those margaritas were delicious :-)
I ended up wearing a fairly simple outfit for Christmas: a white Forever 21 shirt with a blue floral pattern ($12) and my comfy cropped and holey American Eagle skinnies ($25) because I wanted to be comfy yet cute. I think I succeeded :-) When we did leave the apartment, I threw on my white no name flats that have little cutouts in them (Plato's for $9). I mostly just wore slippers, though :-P

After dinner, the four of us sat around, drinking margaritas and talking, with the TV on in the background. The Montgomerys ended up leaving around 8:30 because Nikki had to be up at 4:30 to work at 6. Adam and I were able to Skype his mom/step-dad, as well as my family, which was really great :-)
One thing that was my favorite from the day was when Adam brought Arya's food bowl up on the table, making her eat at the table with us. It was so freaking precious!!
Once we got done Skyping the families, Adam played on of his games while I read for a bit. We finally crawled into bed around 1:30, and we pretty much passed out right away :-P It was a pretty great Christmas, if I do say so myself!!
