Day Off & Still Busy

Day 75!!

Bonjour, mon amis!! Sunday was my day off, and I loved it!! I slept in with Adam, made a Dillard's run to get some super cute baby boy clothes for my bestie's baby shower, and then met with a group I'm in for one of my classes at the Town n' Country Library so we could work on/finish our project. We ended up spending like 2 hours figuring stuff out only to be kicked out of the room we were using. Stupid library people. Apparently someone else had signed up to use the room after us even though when we first signed up for the room there weren't any other names on the list… Whatever. We still made some really great strides in getting our project done. Yay for Group Awesome!!

After working on the project, I came home and hung out with Adam a bit before venturing out to see Frozen. IT WAS SO CUTE!! I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF THIS DISNEY PRINCESS MOVIE!! EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO SEE IT ASAP!! Sorry… I got excited :-P I 've already bought most of the songs from the soundtrack… It's casual ;-) After the movie was over, we went home for a bit, I wrapped the baby shower gift for my bestie, and then I left for her 8pm baby shower (around like 7:30). The shower was pretty fun, and it was nice to see the girls I worked with at Plato's. I have missed them quite a bit. AND my bestie loved the little outfits I got baby Preston! Win for Kassy!

When I got home from the shower (around 10), I had to do a four-way Skype voice call with my group mates so we could finish our project, which took literally forever. Seriously. I'm not going to start ranting about how stupid the class is that the project was for, because that's not healthy or necessary, but I will tell you that any class that has to do with the Introduction to Technology for Educators is not one anyone should ever have to take, especially if you're instructors is incompetent/unavailable help. Just saying.

We did end up finishing our project before the midnight due date, which was a relief. I honestly didn't know if we would get done on time. Hopefully we'll get a good grade? We shall see. So, as for my outfit for the day… I wore a cream Anthropologie lace tank top ($30) that-used-to-be-a-tunic-dress-that-I turned-into-a-tank-top with my cropped and holey American Eagle skinny jeans and some teal Mossimo pointy flats that have little holes in them. Cute and comfy is the key to this fabulous outfit :-)

In the first picture, it's really hard to see the detailing/sparkle on the tank top, so I wanted to include an up-close picture to fix that. Cute, right?! I love this used-to-be-tunic-but-is-now-a-tank-top!!

Once my homework was finished, I went to bed where I checked out the family photos my mom posted from when we were on vacation. Look how awesome my family is ;-) I love us, though, and I wouldn't change a single thing about our family dynamic!!

Now, off to finish even more posts… Yikes!! I need to not slack so much in the future :-P Ciao!!
