Work, Work, Work

Day 82

Hey!! So… I'm definitely starting to feel like all I ever do is work… Which is NOT true. But still… Definitely feels like it nonetheless. AND I know that this next week is going to be worse because instead of working 30 hours, I'm working a whopping 42. Yuck :-/ I know that these hours won't be a normal thing. It's just for the holidays. Once we get past the New Year, I'll be back to about 30 hours a week, thank goodness :-P I left Plato's Closet because the hours were too crazy, so I definitely don't want to go back to those crazy hours unless it's just for the holidays since I'm in-between semesters.

Ok, so Sunday wasn't too bad. I made over $1000 in sales, and we were pretty steady throughout the day, which is good. It was my first time working a Sunday, and I got to work my signature 11-7 shift. I actually don't mind working that shift so often since I'm still able to see Adam when I get home. Yeah, I may only get to see him for a few hours, but it's better than coming home when he's already asleep. Hey, this wife will take whatever she can get when it comes to spending time with her husband!! Beggars can't be choosers.

My outfit was, once again, pretty fabulous, if you ask me :-) I wore a reddish BKE long-sleeve shirt that has a cute metallic printed cross on the front (about $18 after discount) underneath my gray-and-off-white Daytrip blazer (about $35 after discount). The third layer was a black Xhilaration racerback tank top ($10 from Target), and I added my super cute off-white BKE scarf that has holes and tassels ($10 after discount). Really, really cute outfit :-) AND it was really, really comfy, which was perfect of work since I was kind of tired :-P I wore a darker pair of Daytrip skinny jeans (about $35 after discount) that I ended up cuffing to give them that cropped look. Another comfy pair of jeans :-)

This is what the cross on my shirt looked like. It's really cool, right?!

What's really cool about my blazer is that the back of it is a piece of off-white chiffon that hangs longer than the front of the shirt, giving it that something special :-)

For shoes, I wore my black Twisted flats that have spikes/studs on them ($12 after discount) because they're also comfy. My feet hurt from wearing boots that past few work days, so flats sounded like a great idea (and they were a great idea).

After getting home, eating dinner, and relaxing a bit with Adam, I went back to reading my book (which I finished), and it was REALLY good! You should really read The Caster Chronicle series, for sure!  I ended up starting the next book in my series, too, which is also really good so far. I don't know if you can tell, but I LOVE to read, and I tend to get sucked into the stories a wee bit ;-) I did end up staying up until like 2am… Which wasn't smart since I had to work at 9:30… Oops! Thank goodness Adam and I bought a Keurig coffee machine :-P

Well, I have a few more posts to catch up on, so I'm going to go do that…. I really need to work on this whole procrastinating problem that I seem to have… Definitely a legit problem :-P So, now to go catch up… Stay fashionable :-) Ciao!!
