Hey ya'all!! So I definitely took the opportunity to sleep in since I had the day off, and it felt AMAZING!! I got up around 12, got ready, said "hi" to Adam when he came home, and then went dress shopping with my friend Nikki that lives across the street from me. I needed I find a dress for Adam's work's Christmas Party... Which is on Friday. The two dresses I thought would work are now too tight in the boob area, so I guess they're gotten bigger in the past year since I've had those dresses?!?! Not complaining, obviously ;-) But it is still frustrating having to get a new dress... Oh well. We did have a good time shopping, and the much-needed girl time was very nice :-)
I decided to wear a dress to make trying dresses on easier, so I went with my cute pink/red Forever 21 dress ($12 online) that I love a lot. It's just adorable, and my husband loves it, too!! I added a red skinny belt to give it an extra something special :-)
One of the many reasons I love this dress so much is the back. I mean, look at it!! It's just super adorable!!
I wore my white no name flats that have little cut-outs in them ($9 at Plato's) because I love them. True story :-)
While Nikki and I were shopping, we stopped by Nordstrom, and I found two pairs of boots (that were on sale) that I just HAVE to have for Chrismas!! So, naturally, I sent pictures of them to Adam :-) Know what he says? That I don't need boots because he just got me boots for our anniversary. My response is that I can NEVER have too many pairs of boots ;-)
The reason I love these boots so much is because they look a LOT like the ones Molly Ringwald wore in The Breakfast Club, and I've wanted a pair like those for as long as I can remember. These boots are about $100 each, so not too shabby for some genuine leather, designer boots. I just really want a pair :-P
After shopping, Adam and I went over to the Montgomery's apartment (Nikki and her husband Andrew) to play Monopoly and just hang out. It was fun!! I always lose, like really badly lose, but it's still fun to hang out with another couple :-)
