Hi!! So, today wasn't as bad as yesterday, but it still wasn't great. The main reason was that I had to work a ridiculously long 10-8 shift… 10 whole hours. I was so tired by the time I got off, it was crazy. Work itself was also crazy busy, again. I wasn't "aggressive" enough today apparently, because I kept having a hard time picking up guests. In my opinion, though, it wasn't because I wasn't "aggressive" enough, it was because my fellow coworkers who've worked at Buckle for forever where being vultures again and taking all of the guests. I won't start ranting again like I did on the previous post, but I will say that I believe it's completely unnecessary for several coworkers to be a levels 3-5 (meaning they have at least three separate guests or groups of guests they're helping at a time) while I'm not even at a level 1 (meaning I don't have any guests I'm helping). That's just stupid.
So… onto less rant-like things… I was able to hep more guests today than yesterday, and I made like $2000, which is pretty good. However, my sales goal was $6100… Not good. I got talked to by my manager before she left about how I'm falling behind. Fantastic. At least I did better than yesterday.
My outfit was pretty cute today. I wore two different BKE burnout long-sleeved shirts. The top one was the one that has a floral pattern on the body with different patterns on the sleeves (about $18 after discount), and the bottom one was the coral one that has ruffles/flowers on the sleeves (also about $18 after discount). I thought they looked pretty stinking cute together, especially since I partially rolled the sleeves on the outer one so the bottom one's sleeves could show, too. So cute!! I added a white Forever 21 camisole ($5) underneath to have a third layer since I didn't do that the day before :-P
For jeans, I just wore a pair of lighter-wash Daytrip skinnies (about $35 after discount). Nothing too special, but they were definitely super comfy :-)

This is what the top layer looked like up close. Or, at least the body part of my top layer :-P
The sleeves looked really cool when I had both layers showing!! I thought the patterns/colors/detailing complimented each other really well, and I did have a guest who wanted the exact same combination of shirts for themselves. Win!!
I wore my off-white Not Rated boots that have studs/sparkles and heels (about $40 after discount). I do love these boots a ton. I always feel like a complete bada** when I wear them :-P
After work, I came home and just relaxed with Adam. It felt amazing to just sit and read for a bit. I'm not even kidding :-P I was able to start and get a good way through my fourth book, which was good. I did end up staying up until like 1 or 2 again… Oops ;-) Oh well. Again, long hair, don't care. Now, onto a couple of more posts. So, until the next one is completed… Stay fashionable!! Ciao!!
-Kassy
