Sunday had finally hit and it was time for me to return home to Iowa. :'( I had an AMAZING four days in Charleston, and did not want to leave! Not one little bit! I had honestly felt like I had moved there and that I didn't have to go back to lame Iowa. :( It was emotional day, let's just leave it at that. I cried in the morning after Gage and I got back to the hotel and I bawled my eyes out again once I got to the airport and waited to go through security.

Gage helped me load up all of my suitcases and bags and we headed towards the mall area for lunch. We stopped at Panda Express and later went to see the new Matt Damon movie, "Elysium." It was actually a pretty good movie! I kind of wish we would have just skipped out on the movie since right after it was over we had to head to the airport. :( Things got sad at the airport as I headed to security. I didn't want to leave at all and I knew that I had a long two month wait ahead of me before I was able to see him again. We hugged and what not and I went through security crying, making myself look like a big baby. :P lol The security people were super nice though, thank God, making it easier on me.
I made it safe and sound to Chicago Midway Airport after an almost two hour flight, where I then found out my next plane was delayed an hour. I had the "pleasure" of waiting three hours until my flight back to Des Moines, making it almost 11pm when I landed. I was so tired and ready to be done on airplanes for a while! You have no idea. I felt gross too which didn't help.
Gage and I ended up skyping at the airport. lol We had only been apart for a few hours and were already skyping, saying how much we missed each other. :P People gave me weird looks, but I didn't really care one little bit! I missed him and he made me laugh and feel much better! :) It helped get me through the next couple of hours of airplanes and travel. Unfortunately, I got sad again once I got back to my aunt and uncle's house in Johnston (near Des Moines). It took me a little bit to get settled into bed, but I managed to stay asleep once I finally passed out, which was good! It was a long day and I was ready to be done with it, for reals! lol
