Lets Do This!!

SISTER 365 Day Challenge- Day 1

 

Growing up, my sisters and I have always been very close, so when the day came for me to pack my bags and move to Florida with my husband for his first USAF base assignment, I was a very sad Kassy. To stay connected, my sister Korry and I decided to start a blog and include a Sister 365 Day Challenge (which I saw on Pinterest... and I LOVE that website!! It's how I planned my wedding :-P). This will definitely be a challenging year, but I NEVER back down from a challenge :-) And I couldn't be more excited to take on this challenge with my wonderful sister!!


Since I work at Plato's Closet and have access to hundreds of fashionable items at 50-75% off of retail value, I do tend to have a VERY large selection of clothes and shoes to choose from for this Sister 365 Day Challenge. I did work a staggering 9.5 hour shift today, so I went more for comfort on this first one. I rocked a graphic racerback tank from H & M (Divided brand), some super dark wash skinnies from Express, a braided white belt that came with a pair of shorts from Maurices, and some teal pointy flats with little holes in them from Target (Mossimo Supply & Co. brand).

I chose to rock this specific tank because it showed off most of my COMPLETELY AWESOME purple songbird tattoo :-) I got this tattoo almost a week ago, and I couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out. It makes an awesome addition to the one I already have on my right foot (it says "I carry your heart, I carry it in my heart"). I do plan on getting more tattoos, so I'll include those pictures into the blog somewhere when they happen :-)


That's all I've got for now, but I will add more posts at some point other than the Sister 365 Day Challenge ones, like an introductory one and what not. As of now though, this girl needs to get some sleep to prepare for a 10 hour shift during TAX FREE WEEKEND... let the craziness ensue ;-)
