Laid Back Thirteen :-)

Day 13

Yay for days off!! I slept in until 12 or so, but I stayed in bed until 1 :-P After I got up, I relaxed and watched Criminal Minds and Sex in the City. A weird combo, but I won't complain cuz as soon as Criminal Minds got intense, I could just switch over to a more girlie show. I cuddled with my kitten for most of the morning, and it was so precious. What can I say? She loves her mommy :-)

Once my hubby came home and we both got ready for the day, we went to the International Plaza Mall to get him some new shoes since he doesn't have actual running shoes for PT (physical training). He got a really good pair of Nike running shoes as well as some Nike casual shoes. I won't say how much we ended up spending (cuz shoes for guys are pretty expensive even when they are in sale), but I will say that my hubby's feet will be so much happier :-)

While we were out, I couldn't help but stop into Forever 21. I just couldn't resist ;-) Much to my surprise, I ended up finding some super cute mint green sandals for only $7.28 after tax. WIN!! Especially since I just threw away a pair of green sandals this past week or so. Granted, those other sandals were way funkier and had something special to them... But these are still super stinking cute!!

Today was ridiculously hot. Like crazy hot. I decided to go for an easy breezy outfit to prevent overheating :-) I wore a Forever 21 cream-colored pleated (and very loose-fitting) tank top that I bought at Plato's for a whopping $3 with my favorite Papaya shorts. Cute, comfy, and light-weight :-) Win!!

I included an up-close picture of my tank top because it's hard to see the pleating otherwise. The lighting in my bedroom is terrible, so my tank looks less cream than it really is, but at least the pleats are visible :-)

I kind of have this love for pointy-tied flats... And I may have worn another pair today ;-) These adorable coral-and-light-pink floral flats are from Old Navy and were on sale for $7. Yet another win!! I bought these on a shopping day with my bestie who just so happens to work with me at Plato's now. YAY!!

My husband and I had dinner at an Italian restaurant in the outside part of International Plaza Mall called Brio, and it was really good :-) I had this delicious pasta, chicken, tomato, mushroom, basil, and angel hair pasta dish with an Ultimate Cosmo and some kind of Spritzer. The hubby had a sausage, mushroom, and pepperoni flatbread pizza with Parmesan on top as well as a glass of wine. For desert, I had a tiramisu slider and he had a chocolate caramel slider. YUM!! It was sooooooooo good :-)

After dinner, we went back home to the apartment and watched the new episode of The Newsroom (an AMAZING show btw) while cuddling with our kitten. It was a pretty great night :-) This girl is going to relax some more. Have a good one, and I'll post again tomorrow, so don't miss me too much ;-) Ciao!!
