SPIRIT WEEK!!!!! :)

Day #19

AAAHHH! Ermergerd, it's spirit week here for my sorority! :)  So super duper exciting!!!

So today began the first day of preparation for formal recruitment, which happens in September. All of the active members in my sorority arrived at the house at 9am, and we began on our journey towards recruitment. All of us piled into one room and started discussing the basics of recruiting and then dug deep into practicing how each of the days are gonna go during recruitment. We literally did that all day. NO JOKE. It was tiring and got a little boring at times, but I was able to suck it up and put a smile on my face. Everyone was stressed and annoyed, so one less person being annoyed by it helped tremendously! Other than it being a long day of doing the routines over and over again, it was a good day of sister bonding. :)

It was pretty funny today, however, when some of us sisters got to act as if we were girls going through recruitment! We were divided into two group and the girls pretending to be "newbies" had to wear orange traffic vests (lol) to designate us as girls to be recruited. As well as wearing the vests, we got to make up our own character, being as ratchet or as sweet as we wanted. Girls pretended to be obnoxious, loud, inappropriate, etc., and it was so hilarious!!! Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard! But yeah, that was definitely the highlight of my day. :)

Around 11:30am, we got an hour long lunch break, so Brea and I went back to my house, where my mommy made us bacon cheeseburger stuffed crust pizza. It was the bomb dot com! :) lol  So lunch was a highlight of my day as well I guess. :P

I felt like looking cute today, even though I could've just worn sweats like the rest of the girls did, so I was judged just a little bit, but it was a good kind of judgement! lol  I wore a brand new dress I got for my birthday! I got it at TJ-Maxx, majorly on sale (naturally), and its a brand called Monteau, which I have never ever heard of. :P  The dress is thicker strapped, white, with scarlet red and navy stripes, and it comes with a thin navy belt around the waist. The cutest part is that it poofs out a little bit, right below the belt. It's super classy (like me). :) haha  Then I wore my Rue21 white sandals and accessorized my ensemble with my cute coral and teal bow handbag. I was looking good! lol

I think I'm gonna skype Gage now, or hang out with Brea (either or), so I'm signing off for the night! Have a lovely rest of the night and remember to stay fabulous! :)
