Sister Saturdayyyyy!

Day #17

I worked this morning. So that's cool...

I was scheduled for 11am, but since Katy (my sister) worked at 10:45 and we got off at the same time, I just went with her so we didn't have both of our cars at work. It was a pretty brilliant idea on my part. ;) lol

So we got there a few minutes before 10:45, and I waited around for the next fifteen minutes before my shift actually started. :P  We were really busy at work today! We had two birthday party packages right in a row, followed by 3 more sessions that were booked. There were other people there, besides Katy and I, so they were able to pitch in and help take some of the load off our hands. :P  One of the birthday parties consisted of eight eleven-year-olds, and they were as ratchet as can be! They looked nasty, and they smelled HORRIFIC!!! The entire recruit course that they were on reeked, and it smelled like them for the next thirty minutes or so! Anyways, they then moved into our party room and smelled that up for forty-five minutes. After they finally left, it took Katy, this guy Derek, and I FIFTEEN MINUTES just to enter the vicinity of the room so we could start disinfecting the room. We ended up using an entire bottle of Glade on the room, and it still smelled sketchy as eff. It was awful.

It was definitely a long day, so I was extremely happy when I got off fifteen minutes early. :)  Once I got home, I changed, relaxed while watching TV, and then Katy, Kimmy and I went to Jimmy Johns for din-din, before I dropped Kimmy off at some bonfire she had going on. I got a JJ BLT, naturally, and devoured it when I got home. It was so yummy in my tummy. :) lol

Now, Katy and I are watching HIMYM ("How I Met Your Mother"), and just chillaxing! Nothing too exciting, but it's nice to just sit around and do nothing, especially since Katy and I have been too busy lately to hang out with each other and catch up on life. :)

Since I was at work all day, I didn't get to wear anything too cute. Merh. :(  I changed when I got home, just throwing on a Hanes v-neck that Katy tie-dyed for me and some UNI athletic shorts. I love my v-neck! It's cute and comfy and wonderful. :)  My shorts are pretty rad too. They're dark purple, with black and white on the edges and sides, and they have the UNI panther symbol on them. The brand is Boxercraft, I believe, and I got them for my birthday last year from Scheels. My favorite part about them is that they have a built-in pocket thing for my keys! :) lol  I'm kinda a nerd but it's whatever. When I left the house, I added my saweet light grey Nike running shoes to the outfit. They have a little bit of neon green on them, giving just a bit of spice to the shoes, and I purchased them on sale at Von Maur for only $40! They were originally $75, so I'd say that was quite the bargain! :)
