Chillaxing all dayyyyy :)

Day #6

After sleeping in until 10:30 today, I had a mini Skype date with Gage. He was on his lunch break so we just had fifteen minutes to talk, but that's better than nothing I suppose!

At noon, I had a hair appointment. I just ended up getting my hair trimmed a little bit, but then I also got the ends thinned out so my hair has more of a layered look to it on the ends, without having to actually get layers. I LOVE getting my hair done! It relaxes me so much and I love not having to do my hair for once :P lol  When I used to get really stressed out and anxious in high school, I was pull out my straightener and do my hair to calm down and relax. Weird, I know, but it worked wonders!

I headed to Target afterwards to get a few things for my trip coming up. I'm leaving tomorrow morning, so I had to get everything finalized and packed today, which I managed to do successfully! Yay Korry! :) haha  I got an uber cute new cosmetic bag, that looks more like a handbag, to put all of my things I need to get ready with in. I'm sure this won't shock you at all, but I have a lot of stuff I use to get ready with every morning, so it was a real struggle bus trying to get mostly everything to fit! Like no joke. The struggle was real.

I watched a little Buffy the Vampire Slayer on good 'ol Netflix and painted my nails once I got home. My nails look so presh! I painted my finger nails a neon hot pink, with the ring fingers silver sparkles! Then, my toes are a dark grayish purple with the second toes being the sparkles as well. I felt that the bright, fun colors were much needed since I have such a fun and exciting trip in a few days. Plus, my outfit was more chill and focused on comfort today, so the nails boosted the look up a notch or two!

So, about my outfit. I supported my college by breaking out a UNI Panthers gray t-shirt with my favorite pair of white Dri-Fit Nike athletic shorts, that I got from Scheels. They're so extremely comfy and they're longer and looser than any of my other shorts, which I absolutely adore! Yay for boy shorts! :) lol  Then I went supes (that means "super" in Korryphonics) comfy casual with gray flip flops that I got from Old Navy. Whoo!

I didn't wanna dress all fancy today because I was supposed to work later, so I'd have to change anyways, plus I had errands to run and stuff to do around my house. Lucky for me, my boss called me and said that I was no longer needed to work at the mobile baseball game event. Guess who was really excited? That's right. This girl! :) lol  I really wasn't looking forward to being out in the heat for three hours, surrounded my little kids not listening to me. The three hours was taking away from my available Skyping time with Gage later tonight, which means that I would get less time to talk to him, since it's an hour later where he's at and he has to go to bed at a decent time. :P  So believe me when I say I'm happy I don't have to work anymore tonight! :)

Not much else is planned for me today. I think I'm gonna make some cookies for my aunt, uncle, and cousins, since they're allowing me to stay at their house tomorrow night and Sunday night, and they're also taking me to the airport and picking me up. It's the least I can do! Plus, it helps me work on my "stay at home mom" and "trophy wife" skills that I'll be needing here in the next few years! lol  But really though.
