Day #7
Today I ventured off into the world (aka I left home for Des Moines, the capital of Iowa)! It was a long two and a half car ride, especially without anyone riding with me. I did, however, manage to not die nor get lost, so that's a huge plus! Gold star for me! :) lol

| Dress #3 I tried on (didn't buy) |
When I finally reached my destination, I headed on over to Jordan Creek Mall, and met up with one of my good friends, Jordyn from UNI. I ate lunch in the food court until she got there and then we went to Forever 21 and I ended up buying a new dress! Go figure. :P I tried on a few dresses but only one of them really stuck out to me and looked crazy amazing on (see picture below).

After Jordyn left, I walked around a little more. It got boring after a while, since I was on my own, so I called up my cousins that I'm staying with tonight before my plane leaves in the morning. They were home alone, so I decided to be the best cousin EVER and pick them up to go get our nails done :) They were planning on going anyways so I thought we might as well may it a girl day and go together! I just finished getting my french tips done on my toes, so now I just have to wait for them to dry. Whoo! :)

| Up close of romper |
Now to the important part you've been anticipating: my ensemble! I whipped out my new black and white patterned romper I just got for my birthday a couple weeks ago from TJ Max. I'm not sure what the brand is at the moment, but I know it's totes adorbs and silky and comfy, and that's all that matters! :) lol Um, side note: homegirl doing someone else's pedicure is staring up a storm at me! Good lord. I'm only blogging. Anyways, back to focusing on my look for the day! Since the romper is a little plain and baggy around the waist, I added a thin black belt, that I got from Forever 21, to the romper. Also, since the straps are a little loose and thin, I grabbed my glamorous burgundy Lauren Conrad quarter-length blazer, from Kohls, to pair with the romper. Then, I tied the whole outfit together with my black sparkly Candie's sandals and a few black bangle bracelets. I look pretty smokin' hawt today, if I may say so! :)
I'll probably call it an early night tonight, seeing as how I have to be at the airport in the morning a little after five :P Blah. I'll be sure to update you on anything else that happens tonight tomorrow, so no worries ;) Have a great night and I'll be back tomorrow once I reach Charleston! Ciao!
