Reunited and it feels so good!

Day #18

OH MY GOSH I GOT TO SEE MY SORORITY SISTERS TODAY!!!!!!!! In case you couldn't tell, I'm super excited that everyone is back and that we're starting Spirit Week in preparation for Formal Recruitment! :) It was a blast seeing everyone again after a long summer apart!

Besides seeing everyone, I got to spend some more one-on-one time with Brea, since she's staying with me at my house for the week. She got to my house around 5pm today and we just relaxed watching TV and "gossiping" like we do. lol  I missed not being able to have talks with Brea everyday, all day! We lived just across the hall from each other last year in our dorms, so we were CONSTANTLY together, practically inseparable! Our rooms are right next door to each other this year, so we'll be able to continue on with our "bromance" type of deal. :P haha

So anyways, my family left this morning for a wedding, and since I wasn't able to go, I've been home alone all day. :(  I got a lot of cleaning done, though, and prepared myself for hanging out with my fellow ADPi's! So that was good.

Brea and I headed over to the house around 6:45pm, and just socialized until things got started at 7:15. I loved catching up with the girls and sharing all of the exciting things that went on over the summer. I love my sisters so much, it's almost sickening! But in a good way, of course! :) lol

Cheetalicious! ;)

I was feeling fabulous and house-wifey today so I dressed up just a smidge. ;)  I wore these high-waisted cheetah print shorts, equipped with a long zipper in the front and a zipper pocket on the bootay, that I bought in Tampa over spring break when I visited my sissy and brother-in-law. This was the first time I had worn them, so I was a little concerned on how they looked on, but I got a ton of compliments from my sisters so I must have looked good, right? ;) lol  I bought the shorts from a cute little store called Papaya, and the shorts were only like $5, if I remember correctly, so that was a major score on my part! :)  I went a little more basic with my top, wearing an all black crop top tank from American Eagle. This top is great for fun colored shorts, since it's pretty simplistic. The back is like a crocheted lace, so it makes the top less boring. It's pretty sweet! :)  What shoes did I wear, you ask? My Candie's sequin sandals, naturally! What other shoes would I wear??? ;) lol  To add to my high-fashion, house-wifey look, I curled my hair, repainted my nails a pretty pink, and wore bright red lipstick. I looked smoking hot! Not to toot my own horn or anything though...;) haha

Not much else has happened today, nor will much happen later tonight. I think Brea and I are just gonna hang out and relax, maybe watch a movie, and call it a night, since we have to wake up bright and early. Blah. :P  So this is good night.
