TGIF: Shopping and a date night!

Day #9

So Thursday night was wonderful :)  I got to spend the night with the best boyfriend a girl could ask for and it was magical! We went to Jimmy Johns for dinner- romantic, huh? ;) Then we went back to my hotel room and watched "Pitch Perfect," since Gage had never seen that movie before (because he's lame) and since he needed to get back on base at a decent time for his test in the morning. It was nice to just relax and spend one-on-one time together! :)

Because the internet, not only on my phone but also for my computer, was sucky in Charleston (they don't have U.S. Cellular lines there), I had to wait until now to post my outfits from Friday until Sunday. So here it goes:

I did a little shopping on Friday at a place called Tanger Outlet Mall. We have one in Iowa not too far away, but the one in Charleston was MUCH bigger and better! Since I was going out for a day of shopping and it was Friday, I dolled myself up a little bit. I wore another one of my new Forever 21 dresses. It's a hi-lo animal print chiffon button up sleeveless dress, with studded collars. I LOVE IT!!! <3  Naturally, I accessorized my outfit with some bangles and a perty ring :)  I then finished the look off with my black gladiator sandals!

So, funny story: While I was shopping in this store called Loft, I all of a sudden had to go to the bathroom so badly! Well unfortunately, I was in the dressing room while I was hit with this problem. So I had no choice but to abandon my clothes in the dressing room and book it out of the store to the nearest restroom. I didn't have time to put my clothes on hold or put them back since it was a dyer emergency! It was bad. After I went potty, I went back to the store to find that the girls working had taken my clothes out and hung them back up, but I didn't realize this until I hustled back to the dressing room to rescue my clothes. They gave me the weirdest looks and I knew they were talking about me through their dumb little headsets, only making things that much more uncomfortable. Talk about awkward! lol  Anyways, I ended up finding the items I "needed," purchased them, and got the heck out of there! Let's just say that was the last store I went into that day... lol

So after my two hour shopping adventure, I went back to the hotel to chill for a little bit and watch tv. I waited to hear from Gage that he was done with class, which was around 4pm, and then I went and picked him up from the base. Luckily, the base was only about four or five minutes away from the hotel, off the same street, so it was an easy drive! We ended up going to a little store they have by base with some of his friends so they could get outfits for the get together that we were all invited to later on that night. After Gage and I dropped the boys off back on base, we headed back to the hotel so I could get ready for our date night! Yayyyyy! :)

Not gonna lie, I look smokin' hot on our date night! lol  We went to Olive Garden (so presh), and then afterwards picked up one of his friends to head to the party at one of the Navy guys' house. I wore ANOTHER Forever 21 dress on our date! It's a black hi-lo chiffon button up 3/4 sleeve dress, and it's most definitely my favorite dress at the moment!!! I wore a really pretty lime green and silver chunky necklace to add some color to my outfit, as well as my black sequin Candie's sandals. My hair was curled to perfection and my makeup was killer! I knew I was looking good all night since I was receiving a lot of positive feedback from Gage and all his friends. lol It was a frickin' fabulous night! :) We talked a lot and got to act like a real couple finally! haha  That was our first official date since we've been dating, so it was quite the big one! :)

We ended the night with some alone time and a little tv. It was a lot of fun hanging out with Gage and all his friends, but I prefer to have him all to myself. It may be selfish of me, but I honestly don't care :) lol  I got him back to base a little before midnight, and slept until I picked him up again at four in the morning!

That basically sums up my Friday date night! Fun, flirty and fabulous! :) lol
